The programmes are in accordance with the Eastern Institute of Learning in Management University, Sikkim Act 2006 (Act No. 4 of 2006 No. 28/LD/2006/Dated April 04, 2006 Published in the Sikkim Government gazette on April 17, 2006.
As per Letter No. F.9-19/2007 (CPP-1) dated 22-July-2008, EIILM University is empowered to award degrees as specified by UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956.
