Para- Medical Programmes

Paramedical is a medical professional, usually a member of emergency medical services, who primarily provides pre-hospital advance medical & trauma care. It is charged with providing emergency on-screen treatment, crises intervention, life saving stabilization and transport for ill and injured patients to definitive emergency medical and surgical treatment facilities, such as hospitals and trauma centers. Normally, paramedical includes physiotherapy, occupational therapist, prosthetic, orthotic technicians, medical technologies, radiographers & radiotherapist.

In order to contribute in paramedical field NCIS has launched some elementary certificates, diploma, and degree level programmes. In India we are struggling with the huge demand of professionals in medical industry. The Para- medical programmes of NCIS are focused on quality medical services to support the villages of the nation. This is just an effort to contribute in fulfilling the mission of government of India to produce sufficient number of technicians and supportive staff in paramedical industry.

Prospect of study for university students: Certificates holders are eligible for credit transfer to the second year of relevant diploma programme. Diploma holders are eligible for credit transfer to the third year of relevant diploma/graduation programme.PG Diploma holders are eligible for lateral entry to the second year of relevant PG Degree programme.

Students other than science stream are required to appear science skill examination in addition to the first year examination.
