Sports Management Programmes
Sports Management is the field of education and management concerning the business aspect of sports. NCIS offers sports management programmes to help out in the process of building sports as a career for the youth of country. Despite of the fact India is having second largest population base, the presence in sports is not up to the mark. This never means we do not have sportsperson. The only problem is the management of talented sportspersons. The objective of NCIS sports management is to provide proper guidance to manage sports affairs, to identify talented youth and to contribute in the segment of sports. Some examples of sports managers include the front office system in professional sports, college sports managers, recreational sports managers, sports marketing, event management, facility management, sports economics, sports finance and sports information.

Prospect of study for university students: Diploma holders are eligible for credit transfer to the second year of Advanced diploma in sports Management. Advanced Diploma holders are eligible for credit transfer to the third year of BBA programme in sports management.PGDSM holders are eligible for credit transfer to the second year of Post Graduate Programme in Sports Management/Physical Education.
